What does the result mean?

The integration uses GPTZero’s document classification and confidence label. It does not measure the percentage of words written by a person and cannot establish who wrote a document.

Can detectors be wrong?

Yes. Human writing can be flagged and AI writing can be missed. Short passages, non-native English and edited text can be difficult to classify. Do not use a scan alone to make grading or misconduct decisions. This tool does not reproduce Turnitin or any other detector’s results.

What is sent and saved?

Only submit text you may share with a third-party detector. With your confirmation, the text is sent to GPTZero; we store the classification for account recovery, not the submitted text. You can delete the saved result. See GPTZero’s privacy policy and our privacy policy.
