When enabled, the essay writer sends your topic, settings and notes to Volcengine Ark. The detector sends text to GPTZero only after you confirm that transmission. We do not include your account email or payment details in provider requests. Separate writing-tool records store a request fingerprint, usage information and the generated draft or detection classification, not the submitted topic, notes or scanned text. Choosing Save edited draft also stores your edited essay alongside its generated original; saving does not send another request to the model provider. Results and saved edits remain available until deleted through the tool or an account deletion request. Deletion removes both copies but retains an opaque request record to prevent duplicate work. Account-scoped request IDs are kept in browser session storage for recovery. When you open sign-in from these tools, your input and settings are temporarily kept in that tab for up to 30 minutes so they can be restored on return. Providers process text under their own terms and privacy practices. Unsaved browser edits are not stored on our server.
This policy describes how gpt-humanizer.com ("GPTHumanizer," "we," "our," or "us") processes account information, rewrite text and usage data, and how to contact us about that information.
The service uses the following information:
When you request a rewrite, we send your submitted text to our AI provider to generate a result. A successful signed-in rewrite automatically saves the original, result, selected tone and words used in your account history. This history is associated with your account.
The anonymous Humanizer trial is no longer available. Rewriting requires sign-in and available word credits. The former trial sent text to our AI provider without saving the text or result in our application database; its result was available only in the live browser session and could not be recovered after a lost response. It used an essential signed browser cookie with a lifetime of up to 400 days and retained keyed hashes of the browser token and network address, without storing the raw address in trial records. These pseudonymous eligibility markers can link visits from the same browser or shared network and have no automatic daily or restart reset. Existing cookies may remain until expiry or removal. Request-status records had a 24-hour visibility window; expiry and disabling the trial do not automatically erase stored details or the permanent eligibility markers. Providers processed submitted text under their own terms and privacy practices.
We store your email address and account information for sign-in. Email sign-in uses a verification code; Google sign-in can provide your name, profile image and account identifier.
Technical data can include browser and device information, IP addresses and service logs. We use this information to operate the site, apply regional availability rules and investigate failures. Google Analytics measures usage events; we do not add submitted text, rewrite results or account email addresses to those events.

Your privacy and security are central to everything we do.
The website and AI-provider connection use HTTPS. Access to the application database and service credentials is restricted. No security measure can guarantee that information will never be accessed improperly.
Only authorized team members with a legitimate need have access to systems that contain user data.
We regularly monitor and update our systems to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
We use essential sign-in cookies to operate the site. Cookies previously issued for the discontinued anonymous trial may remain until expiry or removal. We use the Google tag for Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure site use and advertising performance. The tag can load on ordinary page visits; it is not limited to completed purchases.
For verified, fulfilled invoices, our purchase-event code sends Google the invoice identifier, amount and currency. The Analytics purchase event also includes the plan, billing interval and site language. We do not add draft text, rewrite results, account email addresses or card details to these purchase-event payloads.
To reduce duplicate purchase events, we keep up to 200 invoice identifiers in this browser’s local storage; newer entries replace older ones. These entries do not have an automatic expiry in our code, and you can remove them by clearing site data.
When you submit a rewrite, leave or reload the editor while its outcome is unresolved, open sign-in or follow a guide, pricing, free-trial, privacy or terms link from the editor, a temporary draft may be kept in your browser tab so you can resume editing; drafts older than 30 minutes are not restored.
To recover an interrupted signed-in rewrite, the editor also keeps an account-scoped request identifier and selected tone in browser storage until the result is confirmed; this marker contains no draft text. The server links a completed request to its existing saved history. Deleting that history removes the recoverable text, while a request marker prevents the same request from running again.
The regular editor also keeps the latest completed result, its submitted source, selected tone, manual edits and request ID in this tab’s session storage, associated with the signed-in account. A successful result or edit save starts a 30-minute restore window. Returning offers Restore or Discard; Restore checks the authenticated server receipt before showing local text and does not replace the current original draft. Manual edits are not added to server history. Clearing the result, discarding the backup, signing out or switching accounts removes these temporary result copies when browser storage is available. Deleted server history cannot be restored through this feature. Expiry stops restoration but does not guarantee immediate physical erasure; this backup is not encrypted against someone with access to your browser profile and does not sync across devices. Copy important text before leaving or closing the tab.
You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser, although clearing storage may affect sign-in, saved drafts and recovery information.
On eligible advertising links, you can choose to associate a coarse advertising source with your signed-in GPTHumanizer account. This helps us understand how people from those sources use our tools, encounter failures, start checkout and complete paid subscriptions. The choice is optional: declining it does not change your access, allowance, prices, sign-in or checkout.
Before you choose, the source is read only in this page’s memory. If you choose while signed out, we keep the source in this browser tab’s session storage for up to 30 minutes, then ask you to confirm association with the account you sign into. We do not associate it automatically after sign-in. A different tab, unavailable browser storage or an expired choice can prevent association.
The account record contains only an allowlisted source, medium, campaign and, where recognized, advertising group, together with consent timing and status. It does not collect your draft, rewrite result, IP address, search term, full landing-page address, advertising click ID or Google Analytics identifier. We do not send this account association to Google, Stripe or our AI provider. It is account-linked personal data, not anonymous data. A link’s source labels are only a browser-supplied clue and do not prove that an advertisement caused a visit or purchase.
The first confirmed source stays active for 30 days and is not replaced by later advertising visits during that period. Analysis uses account activity after confirmation and before expiry. Expired or withdrawn sources are excluded from analysis immediately. The running service checks for expired source fields at database startup and every hour, and also when source settings are requested. Downtime or a database lock can delay physical clearing until a successful cleanup; analysis still excludes expired sources. Withdrawal clears the live source fields and leaves only the account’s choice status and revision to prevent an old tab from restoring them. Account deletion removes that record. Backup copies are not erased immediately.
You can view the current association and withdraw below while signed in. Signing out clears a pending choice in this tab but does not withdraw a previously confirmed account choice. We honor supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for new associations. This choice is separate from Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, sign-in cookies and security logs described on this page.

How this choice worksWhen enabled, our optional Clarity control asks before loading Microsoft Clarity on eligible public editor and guide pages. If you allow it, Clarity can process masked page interactions, clicks, scrolling, device and browser information, page addresses and referral information to help us understand usability. We request analytics storage and deny advertising storage. Microsoft may process collected data under its own privacy statement, including for product improvement and advertising purposes; this setting does not override Microsoft’s terms.
We configure strict text masking and explicit page masking, and exclude account, history, authentication and payment routes. This is separate from processing text you intentionally submit for a rewrite. Do not submit confidential or sensitive material. Masking is not a guarantee that a tool is suitable for confidential communications.
You can decline or withdraw through “Clarity privacy choice” on an eligible page. Withdrawing stops the recorder on that page; enabling it again after a stop requires a new page load. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. We honor supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for Clarity. This control does not change Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, sign-in cookies or server security logs. If the control is absent because Clarity is disabled or the page is excluded, no new Clarity script is loaded there.
Before signing in, you can paste text to preview its section count and input-word credits in this browser. If you choose Sign in with a draft present, its text, optional name and section size are temporarily kept in this tab for up to 30 minutes so you can choose to restore or discard them after returning. This temporary preview is not an account draft or a server upload. If browser storage is unavailable, copy your text before signing in; leaving the page may lose it. PDF and DOCX import, saving a workspace and submitting a rewrite require sign-in.
If you follow a same-window site link away from a new, unsaved long draft, its original text, optional name and section size are written to this tab’s session storage at navigation, not on every keystroke. Returning within 30 minutes can offer an explicit Restore or Discard to the same signed-in account, or to the signed-out state in that tab. A signed-out draft is not automatically handed to a newly signed-in account. This does not save an account workspace or send text to the rewrite service. Expiry stops restoration but does not guarantee immediate physical deletion of the browser record; you can clear site data yourself. If storage is unavailable, the link is stopped and you are asked to copy the draft before leaving.
When you choose Save draft in this browser, the long-text workspace stores your draft name, original text, section results, saved edits and review progress in this browser’s IndexedDB, associated with your account. You can keep up to ten drafts and switch between them; switching preserves the other drafts instead of deleting them. These local drafts persist until you remove each draft or clear site storage; they do not sync to another device. Signing out hides the workspace but does not erase local text. Account separation is not encryption against someone who can access your browser profile.
Only a section you explicitly submit for rewriting is sent to our writing service and AI provider under the rewrite practices above. Successful rewrites also enter your account history. Removing the local workspace does not delete server history, and deleting server history does not erase a downloaded or browser-local copy. Download important edits before clearing storage. Pending request identifiers are retained for recovery; resolve an interrupted request before removing its workspace.
The GPTHumanizer Rewrite Review extension processes manual draft comparisons and worksheet notes locally. Comparing text does not upload it. The extension does not save those drafts or notes after you close or reload its page; a printout or PDF you choose to create remains under your control.
If you choose to connect an account, the extension requests access to gpt-humanizer.com only and opens a dedicated website tab. It uses that tab’s existing sign-in without exporting sign-in cookies, and reads your account identifier, email and available word allowance. It does not read your mailbox, scan unrelated websites or automatically send messages.
Choosing Rewrite sends your original text and selected tone through our website to the rewriting provider described below. Successful originals and results are saved in your website account history under this policy’s retention rules. Connecting or checking an interrupted request may retrieve a previously saved result; closing the extension does not delete that website history.
To check interrupted requests and avoid submitting them twice, the extension uses account-scoped request identifiers and the selected tone in IndexedDB under our website origin. These recovery markers contain no draft text. Clearing site storage or removing the extension does not delete server-side history. You can request deletion of saved history or account data through support.
The extension does not include a separate analytics SDK. Opening its website connection tab is still a website visit: ordinary server logs, Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement and the optional Clarity controls described above apply. You can revoke website access in Chrome’s extension settings or remove the extension. For data-handling requests, contact support@gpt-humanizer.com.

Successful signed-in rewrites and their original text remain in your account history. The service does not currently apply an automatic deletion period to this history. You can request deletion by contacting support. Failed rewrites are not added to account history.
If you create an account, we retain the minimal information necessary to operate your account and comply with legal obligations. Separately, if you explicitly choose it, we retain the limited advertising-source association for the period described above. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Volcengine Ark (Doubao) processes submitted text to generate rewrites. We do not add your account email or payment details to model requests. We also use Stripe for payments, Resend for verification emails, and Google for optional sign-in, Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement. Providers handle data under their applicable terms and privacy practices. Processing may take place outside your country; the configured AI endpoint uses the provider’s Beijing region.
Our Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and is not directed to people under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact support@gpt-humanizer.com so we can investigate and address it.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify users by updating the "Effective Date" and, where required, by email or prominent notice on the site.
