Text Processing and Account History
When you request a rewrite, we send your submitted text to our AI provider to generate a result. A successful rewrite automatically saves the original, result, selected tone and words used in your account history. This history is associated with your account.
Account Information (if you create an account)
We store your email address and account information for sign-in. Email sign-in uses a verification code; Google sign-in can provide your name, profile image and account identifier.
Technical & Usage Data
Technical data can include browser and device information, IP addresses and service logs. We use this information to operate the site, apply regional availability rules and investigate failures. Google Analytics measures usage events; we do not add submitted text, rewrite results or account email addresses to those events.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect strictly to:
- Provide and improve our Service.
- Maintain site security and prevent abuse.
- Respond to inquiries or support requests.
- Provide your rewrite history, word balance and subscription access.
We never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Cookies & Tracking
We use sign-in cookies and Google Analytics to operate the site and understand usage. When you open sign-in or follow a writing-guide link from the editor, a temporary draft may be kept in your browser tab so you can resume editing; drafts older than 30 minutes are not restored. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser, although this may affect sign-in and saved drafts.

Rewrite History
Successful rewrites and their original text remain in your account history. The service does not currently apply an automatic deletion period to this history. You can request deletion by contacting support. Failed rewrites are not added to account history.
Account Data
If you create an account, we retain only the minimal information necessary to operate your account and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Third-Party Services
Volcengine Ark (Doubao) processes submitted text to generate rewrites. We do not add your account email or payment details to model requests. We also use Stripe for payments, Resend for verification emails, and Google for optional sign-in and analytics. Providers handle data under their applicable terms and privacy practices. Processing may take place outside your country; the configured AI endpoint uses the provider’s Beijing region.
Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify users by updating the "Effective Date" and, where required, by email or prominent notice on the site.
